program will be an eye opener to show people in general where UNITEN students
especially are capable of organizing an international level program.

In addition, this summit will strengthen the bond between SRC members of
IPTS in Malaysia. During the two-days summit, several issues will be discussed to
be brought forward to MPPK 2 which will be chaired by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin,
Deputy Prime Minister cum Education Minister of Malaysia. Other than that, the
objective of UNITEN SRC is to form an IPTS caucus so that it would be one strong
union that would create a collaboration from multiple aspect which is good for
the university and also generates professional leaders for the future.

Assalamualaikum and Greetings.

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to extent my warmest welcome to all of you to the 1st IPTS students’ leaders summit. With the support given by the university, the Ministry of Higher Education and private higher learning institutions around the country, we are very pleased that this summit comes to existence.

Two of the main objectives of this summit are to strengthen the bond among private higher learning institutions and to generate a new dimension for student leadership. This summit provides the space needed by student leaders to discuss and address many kinds of issues to relevant authorities. It also becomes the main communication medium among private higher learning institutions to expand new ideas and uphold lifelong knowledge. I hope all of us can work together with full passion and commitment no matter where we are, in our effort of achieving the dream of renewal and reinvention for student leadership.

On behalf of the Student representative council UNITEN and all students, I wish to say a string of appreciation and congratulation to the committee members from both Putrajaya and Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Muadzam campus and any other party who slog in their efforts in creating this event.
